Features overview

AIPL Singulator is designed to save you time and money in turning your old albums and tapes into CD-Rs, MP3, WMA, AAC, etc. AIPL Singulator records albums (a.k.a. ripping vinyls), DATs and tapes into separate wave files on your PC in real time, and then automatically stops recording when finished. It is much easier and faster to interact with these smaller wave files than one large wave file, and your computer will crash less often.

Once your album or tape has been recorded into separate WAV files, you can use other products for noise reduction, ripping to MP3, Windows Media audio (WMA), Real audio, AAC for Apple iTunes, or burning them to a CD-Rs. Note that AIPL Singulator only creates WAV files.

The program has been designed with the utmost regard for quality, both in terms of sound processing and user interaction. The sound separation algorithm is based upon a theoretical and experimental analysis of old analog recordings. The user interface is designed for ease-of-use and maximum flexibility, with the common controls in the main window and advanced options in a custom settings window.
